We empower innovators to develop their solutions for social inclusion

The circle is a perfect figure.
It is complete and infinite at the same time.
However, sometimes the circle can be a border – separating the world inside it from the one outside.

For each and everyone of us, as part of the society, there are a type of circles which we strive for all our lives; others we try to avoid at all costs.

32.5%

of the population of Bulgaria lives at risk of poverty and social exclusion. This is the highest percentage among all members of the European Union.

2 278 700

people who are at risk of entering a circle whose completeness and infinity are in fact infinite limitations.

What do we aim for?

Open the Circle has one main goal – to empower people in Bulgaria, to give them opportunities to develop, remain equal members of the society and overcome the risk of poverty and social exclusion.

The time for working in silos is over. We will open the circle by gathering people from different sectors – business, NGOs, public institutions, academics, researchers, media. We will combine the resources and experience of different sectors in order to co-create collective impact.

Together we will provide people, organisations, start-ups with the funding, know-how support, awareness and the contacts they need in order to develop and scale their innovative solutions for social inclusion.

The open circle not only brings hope to a large number of people, it raises the awareness about the problem with the risk of poverty and social exclusion for the rest of the society. The solution of that problem depends on all of us together.

Why us?

For years Reach for Change Bulgaria and ING have been working together and apart for a sustainable social inclusion. We learned and achieved a lot. We decided to open the circle, gather partners and build upon what we have started.

What next?

We initiate

by joining forces with Nova Broadcasting Group, Aurubis and NN for the special edition of PROMYANATA . It will support five NGOs with proven solutions for problems faced by children most affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

We will continue to build the coalition and to create new opportunities for support. If you have ideas and want to partner up, contact us. Let’s open the circle together.
